Introduction:
Jurutera Perunding Struktur Awam, a renowned firm specialising in commercial, institutional, and industrial architecture, is currently seeking a skilled Architectural Draughtsman to join our dedicated team. This role will involve working closely with our principal engineer and other draughtsmen to deliver top-quality architectural designs. We pride ourselves on a close-knit team and a positive work-life balance, with no overtime expected (though reimbursed when required) and regular performance-based bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use AutoCAD to design, draft, and edit architectural drawings and plans.
- Collaborate with the principal engineer to ensure designs meet structural specifications and standards.
- Assist in the development of design concepts and ensure they’re accurately incorporated into final plans.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture.
- 2 – 5+ years of relevant work experience in architectural draughting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other draughting software.
- Fluency in Malay and English. Proficiency in Mandarin will be considered a bonus.
- Experience with commercial, institutional, and industrial building design, particularly factories and warehouses, will be highly regarded but is not required.
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to work proactively.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Setapak office.
